For some reason all my XP desktop icons are basically
overlapping each other or stacking on top of each other.
If I don't have auto arrange on I can move the desktop
icons out to the middle of the desktop the icons are
seperated looking with lines through them and then click
Refresh and they all go back to normal. As soon as I hit
the auto arrnage button like on all my other systems and
this one b4 today, they shoot up to the left corner all on
top of
each other. Refresh fixes it each time. This also
happen when I select the check box for web content on the
desktop. Maybe that has something to do with this problem
cause i think the other day i clicked on that just to see
what i did then took the check out and hit apply. Also the
text under the icons, or program name is also messed up.
Such as the My Computer text has My then Com on the 2nd
line and put on the 3rd, you get the idea. All the icons
are doing this also and I've tried renaming, tried
restoring default icons, etc..
Anyways, the icons or the icon grid or something is messed
up. I know for sure its not a memory problem or anything
like that. Can anyone help with this? I am somewhat
computer
litterate so i did all the basic and even more basic
troubleshooting i could..thanks alot.. JRB
