Hello all,

I am running Win XP Pro SP2 with all the latest updates and drivers. I have an Adaptec 1210SA SATA RAID controller. I have two WD Raptor hard disks in RAID 0. About once a week at random, I get a blue screen error that says "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR" and it points to disk.sys. I am quite sure it is a hardware problem. Do you think its more likely the disk controller or the hard disks? I ran the Western Digital utilities on the hard disks and they both passed. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,
Scallica

Try this link:

Microsoft Windows XP - Stop 0x0000007A or KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/prmd_stp_fvlq.asp

In your case I'd check for disk controller errors seeing as you mentioned
RAID.
