XP Compatibility

Hello,

I am looking for tools that might help with finding out what is and is not
compatible with XP. I ran across this toolkit that has something called
collector. It basically looks at the desktop, does an inventory, then
compares the findings with a database of known compatible or non-compatible
apps, and gives you a report.

Apparently you can run this from a server to other machines (non-xp) to
test what they have on it.

Anyone know of other products/solutions?

Insert your XP CD and select Check System Compatibility.

Unless of course he is on dialup - which would take a very, very long time
to download. It is 50mb or so in size.
