Good Day to ALL!!
I am Michael, Math & CS Laboratory Head of one of the
university of the Philippines.
We just have upgraded our client computers to P4 2.4 Dell
machines running under windows XP(for Dell).
Our network is running under Windows 2000 Server. I made
an OU and applied some policies/securities to it. I added
a studentGroup object. under this studentGroup object, i
have a student account.
During testing, i logged-in the student account in the PDC
(Win2k SErver), the GPO is working perfectly. the student
account can only do what is stated in the GPO.
NOw when i logged-in the student account in the client
machines (XP), the student ables to logged in BUT THE GPO
IS NOT WORKING. the student account can do things which
are not suppose to be allowed.
What will I do so that the GPO, created in the PDC
(win2kSErver), will be applied to XP machines???
Thanks for giving time to read my problem. I hope to hear
any suggestions or step to solve my problem from any one.
u can send your suggestions to my email add
[[email protected]] or just reply this message so that
i can browse this forum sometime later.
Thanks to All and More Power to YOU!!!
