I'm following the directions from MichaelStevens.com but after I change the
boot order to boot from CD, my computer still boots from hard drive. Thus,
I'm unable to perform a proper clean install. I've tried disabling Hard
Drive but this still doesn't force a boot from CD. What can I do?

Change the boot order in the BIOS to the following:

1. CD Drive
2. Hard Drive
3. Floppy

Save the settings in CMOS, place the XP CD in the drive
and reboot. You should see a message stating "Press any
key to boot from CD...", then press your ENTER key.

Is the CD a copy of an original? Otherwise, look for "press any key" during
the initial boot screens. If you get a OEM splash screen at boot up, press
ESC as soon as the screen is visible.
