I have XP Pro and 2 drives configured as RAID1 (Mirror)
and the other drive for storage. I made a SATA RAID disk
so when XP askes for F6 I install it.
Then all is well and XP has to format my disk. It does
sucessfully and reboots itself... I take out the disk like
it asks and it askes me if I want to boot with CD. I say
yes and it goes back into a loop and tells me that xp
can't find any disk... thats after it just got through
formatting the drive. How do I get out of this loop?
I know my RAID1 is set up correctly... I made the disk for
F6. Is there something in the BIOS I am missing?

Thanks
Steve

Silly question but.... If you take the CD out why answer yes to the
question?

Try also booting into the Bios and looking at the boot order. Set it to
something like CD then HD then floppy.

You may also have to set an option like "Try other drives".

Thanks,
I already did that. This is a strange thing. I have been
on the phone with MS for over 4 hours total and they can't
help.

Thanks

I assume you can boot from CD and then explore all three drives to check the
boot.ini file?
