Hi All:
Just recently, my computer started 'black-out'with blue
and purple color for about a minute, that occurring after
a couple of 'blinkings' on the screen.
I tried to get the computer/screen back by
pressing 'Enter' and 'alt' 'ctrl' 'del' in the hopes that
would bring the XP/screen back as quickly as possible.
However, I always need to wait the XP/screen back for a
minute or so. Otherwise, the computer/XP running OK.

I just wonder what this annoying problem is.
Is this due to some sort of 'Virus-attack?' Or, my
computer/XP started dying?

Until a week ago, I had NO problem at all.
BTW, in my suspect on this, I run 'anti-virus,' 'defrag'
and etc. and still unable to find any solution.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Get Ad-Aware(it's FREE)spyware removale tool,get it open

for the listed spyware and remove it(it puts it into
Quarantine list incase you want to replace something
later)Get it from this site FREE

Hi Kim:
Many thanks for your suggestion and a GREAT help by
taking the time to respond my puzzle.
In the past, I tried to 'get'/install 'Ad-Aware,' however
some folks keep telling me NOT to have one. Because, once
installed, I can NEVER get rid of this program, which
makes me really scared. Particulary, my machine is mfg'd
by HP that has a reputation of 'picky' as to any 'Spy-
Wares.' Then, to be honest with you, .... I'm very
hesitant to install 'Ad-Aware.'

With a lot of thoughts over this problem, 'Black-out,'
after having read your response, ... one more time, I did
run 'Anti-Virus'/Norton 2004. Afterwards, it seems OK
now. However, it may take awhile to find whether Norton
did a job or not.
If there is/are any OTHER suggestions on this regard, I'd
be truly appreciated.

Thanks AGAIN for your help.
