XP Backup

Just found a site for backing up all that important data, such as Photo's,
Documents, Music etc and its free!!!

Has anybody heard of the site before? They say all files are encrypted and
safe.

I was just wondering if anyones heard anything concerning before I give it a
try.

Seems a great way of backing up.

My appologies if this is not true but you sound more like an advocate for
Mozy than an honest poster. According to the website you posted, Mozy is in
Beta. Would you trust your important docs to such? If so, go ahead and let
us know how it works.

I would never trust a remote site to store my data, who knows who has access
to my data, not on your life...I prefer local backups or store to cd.

And not only that, but since it's "free" what are the odds this service will
still be around down the road? What if the company folds and all your
"backed up data" gets wiped?
