Hello,
Our Group Policy blocks the use of any backgrounds being used. However one
of my users machines has some how placed a background on his screen.
I cannot access the background tab in display as it is blocked so cannot
turn it off. I have deleted the file that is being used as the backgroung but
it is still there after a reboot.
Can I remove the background data from regedit and if so where do I go to do
this?
Thanks,
Mark

We had this problem as well for a user. It seems they right-clicked 'set as
background' in IE and it was put there. During login and logout, the image
displays, but GP has a plain blue blackground.

I had to add the user as administrator, log in, turn off active desktop, set
the background to blue, turn back on active desktop, and then remove them as
administrator. Kind of a long convoluted process, but I wasn't sure of
another way to do it.
