Hi:
Now, there are ONLY Computers with Vista avaiable.

Wonder whether I can change from Vista to XP that
I still love to have.
If it's possible, how to change to XP?

Thanks for your help in advance.

If you look someplace like Dell, go to the small business section, NOT the
home/home office section. They still have a choice. Also, if you call most
vendors, they will put whatever you want on it.

I think at the moment there are still plenty of XP computers on the market.
But I would hurry. Also if you are ordering custom then check HP / Dell web
site they may still have XP available...but again I would hurry and check it
out.

That is *not* true. The big national OEMs are probably only selling
computers with Vista preloaded, and not XP, but you can always buy a
computer from a smaller local builder, and get it with any operating system
you prefer, or none at all.

Of course you can. Personally I wouldn't but, it's your choice.

Buy a copy of Windows XP (or use a retail copy you already have if it's not
installed on another computer), boot from it and install it. The fact that
Vista is preinstalled is irrelevant to how you do this.

Ken,
Just bought a new computer from Dell with preinstalled vista. Quickbooks
premier 2004 will not work on this machine. I need to get this machine on my
windows xp pro version. I boot up using the windows cd and I keep getting an
error that a problem has occurred shutting down window to keep from harming
the computer. What is my problem.
