XP and no Driver

XP Pro does not like my IBM Idea Scan 2000 scanner.
and Big Blue no longer supports the product, and does not
and will not suppy a Driver to work with XP. Big Blue ,
blew me off with the sorry and tough luck message. The
scanner worked great with Win 2000, but not XP. Thanks
 
If it's a known problem, and the manufacturer has no intention of doing
anything about it, it's time for a new scanner.

Have you tried installing the W2K driver, chances are it will work in XP, a
lot of W2K drivers do.
