1) the win ME uses the fat32 file sistem to format the
hdd, file system which is recognized by win XP, thus yes
win xp will read a harddrive which was formated with win
ME
2) if the files are there (i mean if the files haven't
been erased), you can have acces to them (you can do what
you will with them)
Yes, XP should be able to read it. Just connect the drive as a slave,
make sure the XP hard drive is the master, make sure the slave is
detected by the BIOS setup routine, and copy away!
