I have peer to peer network between some WinXP and Win98
computers. I use Win98,and in Network Neighbourhood I see
all computers names. But when I try to browse WinXP
computer it prompt me for password( even such don't exist
on XP comp.) or sais it not accesible.
All the computers are in the same Workgroup with IP
addresses 192.168.2.xx . On the WinXP computer I have
enabled Guest account and i have shared resource on that
computer. I have enabled TCP/IP protokol on everyone of
the computers...
Everithing looks OK in the LAN properties .
How can I make the network so I can browse normally that
WinXP computer in the network

What permissions have you granted on the shared resources on XP?

All can READ the shared resources on all computers.
Plus WinXP computers can see and browse Win98 computers
but Win98 can't browse WinXP.
