XP-98 Help Needed

Yes I just bought a pc that has windows XP but all my
disk-games ect. are for windows95 and 98.... My scanner
isnt even compatable. What do I download to fix this
problem and where do I get that?
 
The only thing you could do is to rt click on the game .exe file and
select Properties>Compatability and choose which OS
you want it to act like.
 
Most of your games will play on XP. For those that don't, you are probably
out of luck.

As far as your scanner is concerned, hopefully there will be an XP driver
that you can download from the scanner manufacturer.

Most programs written for Windows 95 and 98 will work under XP.
Have you tried them?

If there are some which you tried and they don't work, post back
with their names.

As far as the scanner goes, how do you know it isn't compatible?
Have you tried using it? It's possible that it won't work with
XP, but it's hard to give you any advice without knowing what
scanner it is. Post back with the brand and model number.
