processor from a single, ive installed the second CPU,
but nothing! the processore freq is still 733 (ive put 2
733MHz CPU's in), how do i set my computer to rcognise
the second CPU?
Thanks for you r help
Dave

Are you running Windows XP Home Edition or
Windows XP Professional? Only XP Pro supports
a dual processor PC.....XP Home does not.

Putting a second 733 MHZ CPU will not give you 1466 MHZ, if that's what you're after. You will still have 733 MHZ with more precessing power
Of course, if you have no programs that are dual-processor aware, you will not see much benefit from the second CPU. Go into your BIOS and check to see of there's a
setting to enable support for a second processor. When in XP, bring up task manager and see if there are two CPU graphs under "Performance"
If none of this is working, you really need to check with HP about the process, either with the manual or customer support
