XLODBC32.DLL

Everytime when I open Excel 2000, it came with an error
message "the file is not in a recognizable format". When
I clicked "yes" to see what text is contained in the file,
it opened up XLODBC32.DLL in all grabage characters. If I
clicked "cancel", a blank worksheet appeared. What is
causing the problem and how to fix? My OS is Windows 98.
