Sorry everyone, I got my letters turned around, the
correct extension is .xfd. Message should have read.

My son stationed in Japan with the Air Force recently
sent me a file with the .xfd (Not.fxd) extension. I have
tried everything I can to view the file but still unable
to do so. Can someone tell me how I can view it, it would
be greatly appreciated.

The US Air Force recently selected PureEdge as their standard for
forms, which all have an extension of .xfd

To view, you need a product called the PureEdge Viewer, which you can
download from the site at http://www.pureedge.com

Cheers,
Gord
