install whatever program reads xds files. iirc, it's some kind of script, it
might be viewable in notepad, wordpad, or some other text editor. go to www.filext.com and find out what kind of file it is, and install the
appropriate program, if applicable.
Windows doesn't recognize any application file extensions, unless
you (or a software installation) set up an association for it.
Where did you get these files? What program do you want to open
the xds files with? Are you sure you have it installed? If, for
example, someone E-mailed an xds file to you, it's very likely
that you just don't have the appropriate program installed to
open it.
