X600 Noisy fan

If it is still under warranty then get it replaced under warranty.
If not, see if it is dusty and if it is you can try cleaning it with
compressed air or something.
Otherwise you might need to look at replacing the fan with an
after-market one.
 
Sometimes you can peal back the foil label and apply a couple of drops of
light oil. Can buy you some more time before it gets bad again. The fan on
my Visiontek 9600XT started making noise after three months of use. I oiled
it and it quieted for a few more months but now it's noisey on startup.

I'm guessing by this you mean the fan has developed noise problems
recently? If it's a new card, there is a good chance the fan is just
like that...

Look for or order Inox spray lube from a hardware store. The perfect
stuff for computer fans.
