I think MS does not want me to post this in a community
Newsgroup! But, I am not paying to have this question
answered. Why does wustat.windows.com Need my checking
account PIN number? Norton's Personal FireWall has
blocked it more times than I can count on my fingers and
toes. No personal Information will be transmited!!!! I
think a Personal Identification Number is very personal!
Any thoughts? Bruce

Hi,

i think you have a virus in ur system. MS does not ask
for any personal identification in any form and respects
your privacy. If norton has blocked it then it recognizes
it as a trojan.

please update your system with the latest virus signature
and clean ur system.

How are you determining that it is that PIN that is being
transmitted, and to that address? How does Norton's
firewall know about it?

Hi, M. Rajesh; Ran Norton's anti-virus scan (Nothing)
have not seen a pop up today, But went into inbox with my
(Me) system and Norton's e-mail scan went wild had 8
swen's in house! (stupid me I deleted them without
writing them down) Updated Norton's, and XP. How do I
clean system? If MS does not ask for P.I. then who is
asking on there behalf? "wustat.windows.com" is
registered to MS is it not? Thank you for responding!
Bruce

I do not know, if I did I would work for Symantec!
Norton's just promps me with a warning that
wustat.windows.com wants the information below from my
system. Like M. Rajesh stated I may have a virus, but
Norton's did not find one! Thanks for the reply. Bruce
