WU 834707, installé ou non ?

Bonjour !

Après avoir installé la MAJ 834707 en ligne, sur une machine Windows XP
SP2 par ailleurs sans reproche, le message de succès de l'opération
s'est affiché comme à l'habitude. Cependant, alors que les fichiers de
désinstallation figurent bien dans C:\WINDOWS, aucune mention n'en est
faite ni dans Ajout/Suppression de programmes, ni dans A propos de
Internet Explorer, comme s'était le cas sous Windows XP Gold et SP1. De
plus, les fichiers supposés être mis à jour, comme wininet.dll,
urlmon.dll, etc., présents dans C:\WINDOWS après la MAJ, portent des
dates bien anciennes.

Tout cela me laisse craindre que contrairement à l'affichage optimiste,
la MAJ ne s'est pas faite correctement.

Quelques idées sur la manière d'en avoir la certitude et le cas échéant
de remédier à une éventuelle défaillance.
