When I boot up my computer I get an error message stating that "it cannot
locate
wtkernel." What is this and how does it affect my computer?
I am running Windows XP home edition.

Hi davew,

I had a little look into your problem, it seems it may be related to the
wild tangent software, this can be installed as part of another program with
free games, etc.

Open the control panel and click add and remove programs and see if its
installed, let us know ?

Hi again davew,

Also scan with a well known antispyware program as this may help you remove
any spyware found and cure your problem.

It's associated with wild tangent which is used in some cases to run
online games. Some consider it malware. See this link for removal info.

Thanks Andy,
It is installed but can not be removed in the control panel.
I am going to try a program that Rock sent to me.
