WSE 2.0 or 1.0

I'm writing an app that will use web services but don't know which to use,
any advice or guidance much appreciated

I believe that WSE 3.0 is out already as well, if that makes a
difference.

Are you just using web services, or are you providing them? What are
your requirements? This is going to drive your decision more than anything.

WSE 3.0 requires .NET 2.0. If you are on .NET 1.1 then use WSE 2.0, it
has implemented more up-to-date specifications (e.g. WS-Addressing
instead of WS-Routing).
