wrong driver partial install

Doug

A friend running xp pro, went to Epson web page,
downloaded and started to install wrong driver. Now system
hangs after going to check disk. She reports f8 only
brings up frozen screen with driver info, any thoughts
most welcome

Press F8 during the early boot phase, then select either
"Last Known Good Configuration" or "Safe Mode". Either
mode should let you uninstall the problem driver.
