Brian

Hello,

If I reformat my system at 12:00 AM on 1/5/04 and right-
clicked on the Windows XP folder, it says "Created: 6:00
PM on 1/4/04". Why does it say this when the date and
time at installation is correct?

The time and date in my BIOS is correct as well as the
time and date in my taskbar.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

The folder was created when you installed, before you set the date and time.
One or both of the following may have caused this minor issue: 1) Your bios
time settings were incorrect at that time and/or 2) WinXP installations
always default to PST (where MS is) until you set the proper time zone
during the final stages of setup.
