Wrod Document trouble

Does anyone know how I can find (retrive) a document that was saved to the A
drive on a disk and now the disk is corrupted.
 
Sadly, the method is called 'typing'. Saving a document to (or reading one
from) a floppy is a sure-fire way to corrupt it.
