Writing to a CD-R

After burning some digital photos to a CD, using the XP software, I choose finish to end the session. When I put the same CD-R back in the burner, I cannot burn more photos. It seems the CD-R is not recognized by my computer. I do the same thing with a CD-RW disk and have no problems. How can I burn more pictures to the CD-R??
 
When you choose finish on the cd-r cd's, make sure that you are not closing
out the cd for further copy to it just for that session. CD-Rs can not be
erased or copied over. All that you can do is leave session open to add more
files, provided you have space left on cd. OK? Michael
