i am using xp home sp2, i have a cd full of pictures, if i try to move them
or copy them i get the message that says the disc is write protected, how do
i remove the write protection?
kind regards

Hi,

Don't "move", use copy. To move implies deleting them from the CD, something
that you cannot do unless the disk was written with packet writing software
which is currently also running on the system to support direct disk
writing. Simply click on an image file and drag it to wherever you want to
put it.
