Write Now programs circa 1995-1996

NEED HELP!. I have a floppy disc written 1995-1996 on a mac computer. the
program is Write Now. any ideas on how to open the program and retreive the
information. my dell computer does not recognize the disc...of course now I
realize I should have been transfering the files way back when but now is
when I need the information. Have the original program discs of Write Now.
any suggestions?
 
Windows computers do not recognize disks formatted on a Mac computer. You
need a Mac/Apple computer to read the files.

If you don't find an answer here, you might try this question in a MAC
newsgroup.
 
thanks for the info ...any idea if the newer mac/apples will be able to
recognize the file?

I looked for a mac newsgroup ....and was unable to locate...any suggestions

well, that is not exactly true, there are programs that allow windows
users to see mac floppy disks.

but PCs are pretty limited compared to macs since they can only see one
type of format (out of the box) macs can see everything.

so yes, go to a mac group and get your file converted there are about 70
word processors for the mac, and all of them are better than what pcs
have access to.
