Checking the verbage used in describing other domains' "status," I can't
find another "client hold." If I were to guess, something happened
around registration time (17 Apr 06).

Hmmm, I thought that the domain had expired, but now I see it is march
2007.

I'm not sure what caused this now, but it's back online now. It took a
few days of going between Globat and the registrar to get it kicking
again.

I've been pretty busy and I've had everything on autopilot for the
last few months. I just noticed the site was down earlier this week. I
apologize for any inconvenience!

I checked out www.woundedmoon.org/win32_freeware.html & I found several
programs which I have seen in years so I downloaded them. I downloaded
Bcwipe, DriveRescue, Bitmorph & UltimatePaint. I used these programs
years ago but I forgot about these.

Bcwipe is a great secure file eraser which was released as freeware
years ago but the company turned the program into shareware & it has
been ever since. Once of the best file erasers next to the freeware
program called Eraser.

Bitmorph is a morphing program similar to the morphing that we she in
movies such as when a person turns into a werewolf.

DriveRescue is a good freeware undelete program. It can undelete
files/directories which have been deleted by conventional means. This
program can't undelete files which have been overwritten or files which
have been delete using file wipers such as Bcwipe, Eraser, et al.
Originally released as freeware, it is now shareware & the author has
removed the freeware versions from his homepage & I'm glad that the
site above has the freeware version.

UltimatePaint is a good freeware Paint prog. Originally released as
freeware, the program went shareware years ago. There is a version of
UltimatePaint on the author's homepage at
http://www.ultimatepaint.com/download.php which he claims is freeware
but in actuallity, this version on the author's homepage is just a
light version of the shareware version of UltimatePaint.

DriverRescue isn't the only undelete program which went from freeware
to shareware. There is a program called Handy Recovery which does the
same thing. It has also gone shareware but you can still download the
freeware version of 1.0 from http://www.handyrecovery.com/download.shtml
