Norton's got me going!!!!

Yep,slap me silly,I took the advise of a poster,
and uninstalled Norton 2004,and now I am without
Norton,b/c the silly thing will not let me re-install it.
What is it I missed ? Norton doesn't even know how to help.
I think they went on holiday, and took the 2 techs they
have working for them along!!!
Funny thing is,I do not want it anymore, but it's paid for
and I will not let it go,till my subscription runs out.
I do have grisoft,(free)and hope it does me better then you
know who...
Any help or advise would be appreciated.

I am not sure if all traces of Nortons AVG are gone,
from my xphome machine,
but I have tried the automated support system,
and didn't get nowhere.I was in email contact with
techsupport also, not sure what happend there,I'm still
waiting for an answer.
