WORM_NETSKY.DAM VIRUS

Hello to all,

My apologies if this is not the correct forum, but I cannot locate any
information on Microsoft or anywhere for removing the WORM_NETSKY.DAM VIRUS.
Does anyone have any idea or links for removing this/

The MS websites would not be the first choice in looking for instructions on
how to remove a particular virus. Maybe looking at Symantec's or one of the
other AV vendor's web sites would be better? Actually google.com is a good
tool. Here are quite a few links reference removal of that malware from a
google search.

I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ but that worm is 2 and a half years old,any
anti-virus program worthy of the name should not have allowed this worm to
get onto your computer let alone install itself, save yourself trouble in
the future "buy" a good av program. Like the one in the link below.

I have also just found out that the company does not have any antivirus
installed!!!

Then there is a high probability that all machines on the local area
network, including any servers, are also infected. Someone has a huge
cleanup job ahead of them.
