Logitech claims the new MX Laser Engine is 20 times as accurate as the average optical mouse, and with that extra level of accuracy, it can detect small movements over surfaces that would otherwise look identical to its myopic, LED-based brethren.

On the performance side, the MX1000 stands head and shoulders above the earlier MX series of wireless mice, and matches the technical specs of the MX510 gaming mouse while still provided a cordless chassis. Gamers, start drooling.

Flopps.. I must admit it does look very nice!... :)

Ive been useing a Trackball.. Ive had this Logitech Marble thing for Years
Has anyone else used a Trackball.... Good points / Bad points ?

Flopps would the above Laser Mouse use more power and have a shorter battery life?....(lol i just find..... Laser Mouse funny.. :).. it makes me imagine a cartoon like Danger Mouse... exept in this version some mad ficticious rodant is causing chaos with some futuristic Laser Weapon.. hehee )

I came across this mouse just a few days back when I was shopping for a mouse for use in the office. It does look futuristic!

Spooky, you sure have some imagination LOL :D
