workstation is not showing in workgroup

i have 40 Desktop and 5 notebook pc in my workgroup. suddenly one of my
notebook is not showing any other workstation in that group. it is running
windows XP
but it can use other resoursces like printing/file sharing..

how do i solve the the problem?
pls do the needful.

In Folder Options, under the View tab, is Automatically Search For Network
Folders And Printers selected?

Arif,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

Or look at "browstat status", "net config server", and "net config workstation",
from the problem computer, and from 2 computers that should see the problem
computer, and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and
