Working with two different documents

I have two clients who use different fonts. I have created two different
norm docs to choose from with each font. These are transcriptions which
require cutting and pasting addresses or fax numbers to, and these separate
documents are in the proper format for each intended document. When I try to
cut and paste from the lists to the main document, the end result is the
pasted info appears in yet a third font which has to be changed each time.

Is there a way to do this differently or a change I can make somewhere to
allow this to work properly? Any help would be appreciated. I am using Word
2002 (XP) and have Windows XP if it matters.

Thanks

Hi Tweetybird

I think you need to create two templates, one for each client. In each
template, modify the relevant styles to suit your client's needs. When you
create a new document, choose the appropriate template depending on which
client you're working for at the time. Avoid direct formatting as much as
possible, and use styles to do all your formatting. Then, when you copy and
paste from one document to another, the text will be formatted appropriately
for the destination document.

For the basics of creating a template, see

Hope this helps.
