I recently starting using Comcast and they do not support
outlook - how can i get the outlook to work with my new
provider

which version of outlook?

Short instructions: configure your pop account using tools, email accounts.
Use the same account information you use to configure OE - the dialogs will
be slightly different from OE's.

Long instructions: we need to know the version and mode - see help, about.

they don't 'support' it in that they won't help you configure it, but it
will work just fine.

Use the same settings that they provide for Outlook Express for the incoming
and outgoing mail server. Use the Test Account Settings to verify that your
mail is being sent and received. Then go to Control Panel, Internet
Options, Programs tab and make Outlook your default for mail.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.
