From time to to time, I produce detail financial
projections. These projections are comprised of a single
workbook with multiple worksheets. I am required to share
these worksbooks with third parties.

Is there a way to create a macro within the workbook that
would erase certain worksheets within the workbook after
the user has either: (i)used the worksheet a certain
number of times or, (ii)after a certain date has passed?

I am trying to limit the users free access to the
functions which are contained within the workbook.

Thanks.

msulli,

What you're asking for can be done but whether or not it will
work is questionable. Excel is in no way secure. Any form of
home made protection scheme can be easily cracked by an
experienced user.

There's a pretty long thread that might be worth reading here:

There's a good discussion here of different methods of accomplishing
wat you want along with the caveats of trying to do so.

The bottom line is that if your "third party" is savvy with Excel
or knows how to utilize these ng's or the Google archives then
it's just an exercise in futility.
