Workbook performing slow

I have a rather lage woorkbook that is going to be used
to assign tee times for a summer golf legue. It prints
out score cards for each person with a random sponsor
logo on them. Also formulas put the hole yardage, par,
name, tee time, tee side, division, tournament name, ect
This is a big workbook (About 8Mb) and it takes a long
time to insert data from cell to cell.
If anyone has suggestions to make excel load and
calculate faster.
