I was helping a user the other day with the weirdest
problem. When he clicked on SAVE, all the words in his
documents suddenly overlapped, in other words they were
all muddeled up. We closed Word, opened it again and the
words were back where they should have been.

Any ideas? Hope you can help!

I have been having similar issues with entire lines overlapping when I print
a document (only on the hardcopy, not the print preview though), it seems to
be a problem for me related to revision tracking - I'm hoping that it will
go away in my documents when the changes are accepted.

In my case, the lines overlap in Normal view. They are cleared up by
adjusting the window size.
Even when the on-screen text is "muddled," the document prints fine.
I've reinstalled Word and now they want me to reinstall the entire system,
which I'm reluctant to undertake.
I'd surely like to know what causes this. (It doesn't happen in Word Pad or
Works!)
