words disappearing from emails

This is really odd. Recently when I send an email with a proper noun
(capitalozed) the receiver of the email does not get that word.
ex. I will be leaving for Arkansas on friday.
they get: I will be leaving for on friday.
It is not just the word Arkansas - also Gettysburg, Bryon and Fuddruckers
have disappeared from various emails going to various people on different
email prgrams - aol, outlook, verizon mail, etc.
If I look in sent items the words are in the emails but my people keep
asking me who and where because it is not going through.
Any ideas out there????? Thanks.

Are you scanning outbound email with your virus scanner? if so, disable it.
Does it happen with both HTML and plain text messages?

I'd more likely suspect the receiver's end than yours.
