wordpad message at startup

At startup, 2 notepad files open with the following text:
[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-
21787

I'm at a loss. I'm using XP. Help please.

Probably your Startup Group has 2 .inf files inside... check that.

Start --> Programs (All Programs) --> Startup

Right click on Start. Take Open (and later repeat at 'Open All Users).

In the My computer window that opens double click Programs and then in
it Startup to show all files, and delete the desktop.ini files
