somehow I have deleted wordpad.exe, I am running Windows
XP, can anyone tell me how to get the program back????

'Wordpad' on my XPHE is located at;

"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe"

Try putting above string into 'start>run', if that works create a new
shortcut to it!

If the program itself (rather than shortcut) has dissapeared then what I
would try is; "sfc /scannow" in the 'start>run' box, this will require your
XP-CD.
sfc stands for System-File-Check.
