WordArt Squares Not Displaying

When you use Insert/Picture/WordArt the pictures are not
displaying. I have installed all updates and reinstalled
PowerPoint and still no sucess.
 
Did you enter text and customize your WordArt? WordArt is a picture that
you must create. When you click on one of the styles you should get a
dialog that says "Your Text Here". Enter the text you want. Click OK.
Does it show up now?
