My Dell precision is having trouble remembering what the "Normal" template
should be and any shortcut keys I assign to symbols like the "section" symbol
and the "paragraph" symbol. Every time I close Word, and reopen, it never
remembers. What is the problem? Oh I run office Professional 2007
 
Usually the problem is caused by a 3rd party add-in. Adobe Acrobat is
the most frequent offender.

The main problem is that you are asking in a group for XP problems.
Did you not notice that this group title lacked WORD of OFFICE in the
title?
