I installed Office XP with W98 2nd ed. All programs work properly except
Word. After opening to a blank or existing document, a solid black bar
appears all across the screen whenever I insert text. The cursor is moving
to the right. By clicking several times in the black bar, eventually it goes
away and the text is present. Any subsequent time I insert text, the same
things happens. If I change the background to Word Perfect blue, the text is
always visible. I reinstalled and also ran the search and fix feature.
Any suggestions?
