Word to PDF

When I convert my word document into a PDF using
distiller, my PDF is slightly smaller than my original
word doc. it looks like the image was shrunk by about 10%.
any ideas?

PDF is by definition different than a Word DOC. Why do you think this a
problem? Does the content and image look ok in PDF?
