Word thru Citrix has a black box in typing area

We have Citrix Metafram Presentation Server. When a user opens up Word
(Office XP Standard) sometimes they get a black box and can't see what they
are printing. If they click off of Word they can see what they have typed,
but when click back in, they have to type blind again. Has anyone heard of
this? Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated...
