word template file

A word template is a layout for a finished document. I am not sure what
converting it to a pdf format would achieve; however, any document can be
converted to pdf format if you have pdf writing software (i.e. Acrobat or
one of its cheaper clones) installed. Word alone does not offer this
facility.
