Word Table Slow

I have a customer who has created a 3 page Word Document with tables. If I
try to type inside the table it takes 3 to 5 seconds for a single character
to appear. If I try and move the cursor to another cell it also takes 3 to 5
seconds for it to appear in that cell. If I type outside of the cell I don't
have any problems.

Any idea what is causing this problem?
