word perfect skipping/flipping

when I work in word perfect or even just typing on the
internet the screen flips all over the place and
the "letter bar" loses its place and I have to reposition
the screen and begin typing again. Very annoying.

Does this happen in any other application? If not, then the problem is
with Word Perfect. Ask your question in one of the Corel user groups or
look on Corel's website for tech support to get a good answer.
